Originally from the region of Mauricie, Me Camille Rousseau completed a paralegal program, where she developed a passion for law. She moved to Gatineau to pursue her studies in Civil Law at the University of Ottawa where she had the opportunity to work as a research assistant at the Civil Law faculty and as an editorial assistant for the Revue Générale de droit. Me Rousseau then undertook a Master’s degree in Notarial Law and developed an interest for Business Law. During her Master’s degree, she wrote a thesis on non-profit organizations.
In order to complete her internship in notarial law, Me Rousseau joined the team at Décarie Lawyers & Notaries in January 2017, a team she considers dynamic. Me Rousseau is known for her attention to detail, both for drafting legal documents and legal research. Careful, curious and dedicated, she seeks legal solutions adapted to the client’s situation, prevents troubles and ensures the client’s legal health.
Me Rousseau sits as secretary of the board of directors of Maison Alonzo Wright, a regional non-profit organization that offers therapy services based on the financial capacity of individuals.
Me Rousseau directs her practice in business law, succession law and traditional real estate law. Bilingual, she can offer services in French and English.
