Biography

From the Outaouais region, Me Athéna Larin-Larouche completed her Law degree in 2015, at the University of Ottawa. During her studies, she was selected to participate in an internship with a Superior Court judge which allowed her to familiarize herself very early on with the judicial process, and acquire a lot of practical experience in legal research, legal opinions and argumentation.

Me Larin-Larouche was admitted to the Quebec Bar Association in July of 2016 after successfully completing the condensed course as well as an internship within a local firm. Resourceful and fast learner, Me Larin-Larouche was entrusted with her own files and clients from the beginning of her internship which allowed her to make representations before the Court of Quebec and the Superior Court at an early stage of her professional life and manage a lot of different legal issues.

Since then, she has practiced her professional activities in that same local firm up until she joined the team of Décarie Harvey Lawyers & Notaries in May of 2017. Me Larin-Larouche mainly works in Family and Persons Law, civil litigation and civil liability.

Receptive and sincere, Me Larin-Larouche takes all the time that’s needed in order to ensure that your needs are met and that you have a clear picture of your file. Bold and daring, she will vigorously defend your interests both during negotiations or during a trial.

She is bilingual and can advise in French or English.

Me Larin-Larouche holds a position of Director in the Association des avocats et avocates en droit de la famille de l’Outaouais (AADF) since April of 2017 and sits on the organizing committee of La Marche en Rose, a sport event of the Gatineau Health Foundation for the benefit of men and women affected by breast cancer.
