From the Outaouais region, Me De Castro completed her Law degree in 2016 and successfully completed her professional training from the Quebec Bar Association in 2017. Passionate about law since a very young age and wanting to practice in the national capital, Me De Castro decided to continue her studies in common law. She obtained her Juris Doctor in 2018.
Throughout her studies, Me De Castro has always worked as a law student in private law firms of the region to deepen her legal knowledge and put it into practice. She has practiced in various areas of law such as municipal law, construction law, labour law, administrative law and civil litigation.
Concerned about the needs of the legal community, she worked Pro Bono cases at the Outaouais Community Justice Center (OCJC) in 2017-2018. As part of her duties, she met with citizens who had questions about the child custody and divorce procedure.
In May 2018, Me De Castro began her internship with a private Outaouais firm where she developed her knowledge and interest in the areas of family law and youth protection. She then began as a lawyer in the same firm where she had the opportunity to make representations before the Court of Quebec and the Superior Court.
She joined the team of Décarie Lawyers & Notaries in June 2019. Attentive, sincere and available, she does what is necessary so that the interests of her clients are represented as they should.
Me De Castro is perfectly bilingual and is able to offer her services in both French and English according to the preferences of her clients.
